Saline

Saline was great.

I played a lot in the evening with Zack Read and Tim, Heather, and Sean, just for fun. Then I put on the big bass drum and we did the drum salute...it was pretty funny.
There was an impromptu talent show, and Heather and I decided to dance the Highland Fling....we won!!!

This is a fantastic, hilarious movie.

Only about 2 weeks until St. Andrews!

P.S. This band rocks my socks. (except I'm not wearing any right now....that count?)

Lots of News!!

Starting at the beginning...
July 4th: Good Morning America parade, the earliest in America! I sure got to sleep in that holiday. [insert sarcasm here]
Heather (talented drummer/highland dancer) and I danced the Highland Fling. Maura taught it to me in Oberlin when we were both utterly exhausted, sore, and bored beyond belief after our competitions.

Fireworks! ....I got some amazing shots of fireworks. Those bits of light and fire and sparks and gas provide a great deal of amusement for something relatively simple.July 12th: I spent the night at Sara's house. We went to a Greenfield Village tea in the morning. Twas fun, and we had some interesting conversation, as usual.
We have seen photos of our new house!!! Now I am most impatient to go...well, there is much that I will miss, but I do look forward to it.

I want to see this movie. It looks so delightfully creepy and strange. Those types are for me...

Tomorrow is the Saline Celtic Festival. What fun unofficial Highland Games are...! Hopefully some camp people will be there.

OSAS

Sean was tired and used his pipes as a pillow...
Playing the card game mauw can get a little insane.
Krystal and I dyed our hair. We end up living to see our 15th birthdays. Skankin' in the rain. We were soaked.
"...Drew!" That is one looooooong story.
My class was fantastical beyond belief....Iain Macey rocks my socks.

Camp

OSAS is over....I am so very sad. But I promised people I would be happy, so I will be. I miss everyone incredibly though!
I will have loads of pictures soon but for now:

I dyed my hair.

I did advanced piobaireachd and loved it.

I didn't place at the games but I'm ok with it now

I got yelled at by my more expreienced friends who thought I was crazy for not being content with Alma.

I danced in the talent show and it went well...seemed to touch some people, especially one.

I learned the Highland Fling!

I learned that I will be missing someone more than I could've imagined.
