The Little Cuties...

Here are the twins I babysit so often. They were hot today and ran around in their diapers.

My newest little song is "Put Your Records on," by Corrine Bailey Rae. Free iTunes download of the week. Ha....

Maybe sometimes, we feel afraid, but it's alright

The more you stay the same, the more they seem to change.

Don't you think it's strange?

Girl, put your records on, tell me your favourite song

You go ahead, let your hair down

Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams,

Just go ahead, let your hair down.

You're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow.

But don't need to find myself; I already know the One who defines me and always has.

And here's a droring for you....credited to that lovely band, Blesk.

Alma

The Alma Highland Games were this weekend.

Saturday we did amazingly but the band got played and didn't win; Saturday we just didn't do well, but got third anyway because another band dropped out...

Solo I was 4th in the strathspey/reel and nothing in the march (two notes were flat on my chanter).
The Pipe Major let me be "pipe major" for massed bands in the Sunday closing ceremonies. I walked in the front of our line and felt so important and everything, and it was so special, even though I kind of had no idea what was going on. I love them all.

The whole thing was a blast anyway, hanging out with my band and everything. I will miss them so incredibly super much when we move!!!

My solo March on Sunday:

Can't wait until Oberlin and the Ohio games.

Peter Pan

...Is a fantastic book. One that I have read more than once, which is a little rare.
It's also a fantastic ballet, when created by Karen Milligan....
My last recital here, for we are moving, far, far away, to a land so far off you never knew it existed...well, not quite, thankfully.

The performance went well and I had much fun, but there were also buckets of tears.

The antics of Kate Pan.

Hook! All of us at the last rehearsal.

(Wendy Darling) Sara and I.

Love, me.
